Well yes, but they have recently teamed up with Italian manufacturer, Foscarini, a powerhouse in the lighting industry.  Diesel, a world-wide household name known for its edgy clothing designs has taken a step into the world of furniture and has made an incredible statement.  A lighting line that very much resembles the character of their clothing, a very industrial, raw look which fits perfectly with the target market; young, successful, expressive.  

From floor lamps to pendants, each demands attention it its own way using different materials and finishes complimenting each style.  The Rock collection resembles a volcanic rock that when it breaks apart reveals a jewel within, it is an interplay of surprises and contrasts. Mysterious and severe outside, diamond-bright and iridescent inside.  A personal favorite, the Cage collection takes its inspiration from the lamps of miners and workers, protected by a metal cage which in these pieces becomes a decorative element.   Offered in 3 colors, white, black, and green and available as suspension, floor, or table lamps.
