Terms and Conditions
All Suite 22 prices are published store prices and are usually subject to trade discount. Special prices for floor models sales are usually heavily discounted and there is no extra discount for the trade. Prices are FOB Markham warehouse and do not include crating, shipping, sales taxes, or installation unless otherwise noted.
Orders can be submitted in person, via internet or in writing and shall be considered accepted by Suite 22 only after issuance of a formal acknowledgement. If order is incomplete, additional information will be required prior to issuing the acknowledgement.
Suite 22 is not required to accept changes requested after an order has been acknowledged. Suite 22 will accept reasonable change with the following conditions: A) the request for change must be submitted in writing, and B) changes may be subjected to additional charges for material, labour and administrative cost and may affect delivery schedule.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Suite 22 terms are 40% deposit however Suite 22 reserves the right to request a 50% deposit on custom orders. Balance is required prior to delivery to all except accredited buyers where a maximum terms of Net 10 days may apply unless otherwise noted. Payment is due upon receipt of invoices and shall be considered delinquent if not paid within 10 days. In the event that timely payment is not made, customer will be charged an appropriate interest on balance.
Ready to Ship items that are in accordance with the payment terms are shipped within 5 days. Non-Stock items or Factory Orders are tipically delivered in 10-12 weeks. In-stock seating items are typically 4-5 weeks from date of order, receipt of material, stain sample and 40% deposit. Suite 22 is not liable for failure to deliver or perform due to strikes, fire, compliance with government regulations, acts of God, failure or delay of sources of supplies, or any other causes beyond Suite 22′s control.
All shipments are freight collect. If it is imperative not to ship freight collect, Suite 22 reserves the right to request payment of charges prior to delivery.
CANCELLATION & RETURNS
All cancellation and returns must be approved in writing by Suite 22. Any payment applied to such orders will be credited to the account, less 40% restocking charges, for future purchases. No cancellation or returns will be accepted on any custom orders unless approved by Suite 22.
All “on sale” items are final sale.
Since Suite 22 inspects all products prior to shipping, products should be inspected by consignee when received for possible damage or shortage. Any damage or loss must be claimed by the consignee immediately with the carrier.
Items may be stored, with a request by the customer in writing, for 15 days after receipt in our warehouse. After two weeks, there is a storage fee of $100 per item, per month (assesed on the first of the month), unless otherwise noted. Items unclaimed after 90 days become the property of Suite 22, and customer forfeits any payment(s) made.
Changes to Terms and Conditions and to Site
Suite 22 merchandise is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years from date of shipment. During this warranty period Suite 22 will repair or replace, at its own discretion, merchandise that proves to be defective. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from an accident, freight, alterations, misuse, tampering, scotchguarding, negligence or abuse of product. Fabrics and leathers are not warranted against wear or fading. This warranty does not extend to colour, grain, or texture of natural materials such as wood or leather due to natural variations of which Suite 22 has no control. COM/COL materials are in no way warranted. All warranty claims require that the customer return the goods to Suite 22.
